Hu Mengqiao, first-level composer. He has been engaged in opera music work for more than 50 years and has made outstanding contributions to the inheritance and development of Zhejiang Yue Opera music. She has won the Ministry of Culture's Wenhua Single Award and the China Drama Festival's Outstanding Music Composition Award nine times. The opera TV series "Qiu Jin" for which she was the composer won the "Five One Project Award" of the Central Propaganda Department. The Yue Opera "Lu You and Tang Wan" won the top ten quality plays of the first National Stage Art Quality Project. "New Voices of Yue Opera - An Anthology of Hu Mengqiao's Yue Opera Singing Compositions" selects 60 classic arias composed by her.
