Qingyun Sect

(Traditional xianxia, not an invincible protagonist, no System, not reborn, and not a wish-fulfillment power fantasy)

In ancient times, clans flourished and ruled over the people. Every clan possessed bloodline powers that let them soar through the heavens and dive beneath the earth, and the Four Divine Beast Clans were the mightiest of all.

Ten thousand years ago, a demonic dragon from beyond the heavens descended upon the vast lands of Shenzhou, enslaving the clans. The clans rose up in furious resistance, and a great war broke out. To the mighty forces involved, mortals were mere ants. The land was devastated, and the people suffered terribly. In the end, the Four Divine Beasts sacrificed themselves to seal the demonic dragon for all eternity, bringing the century-long war to a close.

After the war, only one person in ten survived among the mortals. To find a foothold and survive, they began seeking powerful forces of their own. After centuries of exploration and study by countless gifted minds, someone finally grasped a sliver of the workings of heaven and earth and created a cultivation method that could rival the bloodline powers of the clans.
