The Undertaker of the Living World

“Paper money scattered across the realms of yin and yang, sending the departed on their way to the underworld.”

Since ancient times, arranging funerals and burials has been one of the most important expressions of human bonds and social order. To ensure the dead depart in peace, funerals rely on a “money attendant” to scatter cash and clear the way.

My grandfather was a renowned money attendant in all the villages for miles around. But after he broke the taboo of the “three forbidden send-offs,” I was struck by a coffin curse and had no choice but to arrange a yin marriage to dispel it and save my life.
