[Two formidable leads + satisfying revenge + strong female lead + business + secret identities] The two kingdoms make peace through a marriage alliance. A sudden downpour causes a flood, and the Princess of Li unexpectedly regains her freedom. Taking a new name, she sets out to make a life for herself in a foreign land!
The heroine gets her start selling wine, meeting many talented and unusual people and kindred spirits along the way. By a twist of fate, she also meets her “future husband.” Moving between the royal court and the world of business, she eventually becomes the richest woman in her enemy kingdom, while the businesses she builds become an important bond between the two nations.
There are lots of romance subplots among the supporting characters:
A cold, arrogant swordsman × a quick-witted “trash-talking champion” who is a cross-dressing male chef
A spirited, dashing princess who yearns for the martial world × a kindhearted, gentle, capable little maid with a sweetly silly streak
