After the Snowfall

This is a seemingly unimportant, even rather small story about a bionic person struggling to make their way down an unknown road. It is a story that seems full of hope yet also brimming with despair, a story about growth, and where it ends, and redemption, and its final destination.

Born high in the pure clouds, a snowflake spends its whole life falling aimlessly, finally vanishing silently into the dust. A brief life leaves no room for uninhibited blossoming, and the fate of being forgotten offers no chance of reversal. Even so, countless snowflakes remain true to what makes each of them unique. No two snowflakes in the world are alike. Does it count as a brilliant ending to vanish as a one-of-a-kind self?

If you want to know my answer, follow the bionic person Aike on this sci-fi adventure. It isn’t particularly sci-fi, nor is it all that long.
