Hold Me Close, My Heart Is Racing

During the name-tag elimination round, she had just escaped from Zhou Zike when she ran into him again.

To avoid the man, Tao Jiaxin fled in a panic and rushed into a restroom.

Before she could even react, an unfamiliar man's scream nearly burst her eardrums: “Aaaah! Help! There's a peeping Tom in here!”

She shuddered in fright, suddenly unsure whether she was in the men's or women's restroom.

Then a pair of long, elegant fingers covered her eyes.

Her back sank into a warm embrace.

Zhou Zike's rich, pleasant voice sounded by her ear: “Sorry, my girlfriend's eyesight isn't very good.”

Held in his arms, Tao Jiaxin could think of only one thing: It's over. I'm going to lose my name tag...

Just as she was preparing to make another desperate escape, Zhou Zike scooped her up in his arms and carried her out of the mess.

Suspended in the air, Tao Jiaxin nervously wrapped both arms around his neck.

She pleaded pitifully, “Could you please not tear off my name tag?”

Her warm breath brushed his sexy Adam's apple, like a feather gliding across it and stirring a faint tickle.

Zhou Zike's eyes were dark and unreadable; it was impossible to tell what he was feeling.

He lowered his head slightly and whispered in her ear, “Sure, if you give me a kiss.”
