Synopsis

This is a fantastical world of Journey to the West. Chen Xuan transmigrates as Tang Sanzang and meets the emperor at a Buddhist lecture. Along the way, he hunts demons and monsters, tricks gods and Buddhas into roasting their mounts, passes through Apricot Grove and the Kingdom of Women, and cultivates Buddhism while learning about love. This is a different kind of Journey to the West, one that brings closure to an old regret.
