A wild, absurd comedy, entirely fictional. Please don’t imitate anything in it.
The main character is the familiar Taishang Laojun from Chinese mythology, speaking with a Henan accent and cracking jokes. Every chapter is a funny little comedy sketch. Between the laughs, the story reflects on life’s unpredictability and the warmth and harshness of the human world. It’s perfect for relaxing at home or on a trip, taking a break, or simply passing the time.
