It turns out that well-known things such as cosmic microwaves, cosmic black holes, positrons, negative electrons, neutrinos, elements, etc. Were not discovered by observation, but were calculated using mathematical formulas, and were later discovered and confirmed by people. The power of theoretical mathematics is really great.
Good book, I learned some knowledge from it
This book is very interesting! It's like a documentary about how, for nearly 200 years, physicists have uncovered the secrets of the universe using nothing more than pen and paper. I especially like the great scientific discoveries mentioned in the book, such as the existence of gravitational waves. And there are some interesting things in the book, like Zooey Deschanel saying that her sister is from Neptune, which is really funny. This book not only allows children to understand science, but also stimulates their curiosity and desire to explore.
Fellow Taoist, would you recommend more such easy-to-understand popular science books? Thank you.
Although it is difficult to understand, the narrative is indeed wonderful and a good book
