[Slay the Gods Fanfiction]
Ye Fan passed away, and the Sword Saint died fighting the Outer Gods beyond the mists. To control the core of Great Xia, Guan Zai activated Plan Two. To maintain the brainwave connection with Great Xia, he entered a state of suspended animation, freezing his body’s cells to preserve enzyme activity and leaving only his brain’s mental energy active to reduce his metabolism.
The “Cold Sleep Plan” maintains his bodily functions and appearance. He can recover and unseal himself through his own consciousness. During a crisis, Guan Zai exhausted his mental energy and fell into a deep sleep. Once he regained it, he could take control of the network again.
Guan Yue was probably from the fifth generation or later. During that crisis, Guan Zai’s brain suffered some backlash, and he lost part of his memories. He slept for a hundred and fifty years.
And so, his older brother Guan Yi and younger sister Guan Ling took their ancestor, Guan Zai, to the Night’s Watch training camp. After training, they formed a special squad.
