Seven thousand years ago, the Heavenly God Nether Venerable shook the Three Realms, slaying evil gods and wicked spirits, commanding order, and protecting all living beings. Yet he was falsely accused of rebelling against the gods and cast into the Infernal Prison.
Seven thousand years later, the Nether Venerable is reborn as Ye Muchen, young master of the Golden Summit Hall. His family is massacred, and he is besieged by evil gods and wicked spirits. By a twist of fate, he merges his past life's powers with his own, rebuilds the Ye family, and rises once more to the peak of the Heavenly Gods. Yet to protect all living beings across the Three Realms, he willingly perishes in a sea of flames and remains forever in the Netherworld.
This is a realm where demons, wicked spirits, gods, and Buddhas coexist. This is a chaotic world where Heaven and Earth conspire with one another. This is an era when evil gods and wicked spirits wreak havoc among the people. Ye Muchen's defiant rise to power begins here.
