A Palace Loft Rises Halfway to the Sky, Music Drifts on the Wind with the Consorts’ Laughter: The Secret History of China’s Empresses

The content of this book is very interesting and allowed me to understand the complexity of the ancient harem. Especially the story of Zhang Yan and Emperor Hui of Han Dynasty feels like watching a TV series. The author's writing style is very vivid and the writing style is good, making it easy for people to relate to. I have just graduated and am looking for a job. Sometimes I feel helpless, just like Huidi. However, like Zhang Yan, I will persevere and believe that the future will be better. This book gave me some encouragement.
