This book is very interesting! It interprets the history of mathematics in a simple and easy-to-understand way, allowing me, a math novice, to appreciate the romance and brilliance of mathematics. I especially like the story about the origin of imaginary numbers in the book. I didn't expect the development of mathematics to be so tortuous and interesting! But I hate those old-fashioned mathematicians the most, who always make things mysterious and confuse people. This reminds me of Sheldon in "The Big Bang Theory". His persistence in mathematics is really similar to some of the mathematicians in the book. All in all, this is a book worth reading and I recommend it to you!
