Lin Tian is hit by a shell on the battlefield. When he finally comes around, he discovers he has been transported to World of Warcraft. He was the only son of a noble knight and captain of the King's Guard. After accompanying Marshal Anduin Lothar in that war, he died on the battlefield. When his father, the captain, died, Lin Tian automatically inherited his father's title of count. He thought he could live off his inheritance, but after Stormwind City was built, the city's nobles schemed to trade his family's Eastvale Logging Camp in Elwynn Forest and a farm for the title of lord of Westfall. They also sent his entire family to Westfall, leaving them to be wiped out by bandits and Quilboar. Memories of history flash through his mind. In this world, his mother died at the hands of gnolls while trying to save him. Of the 300 guards who once served him, only 50 remain after their struggle against the Defias bandits. Fortunately, the captain of the guard and the shrewd old steward are still alive. Of the six farms, only Jason's, Fabulon's, and Sentinel Hill Farm remain. The famous old farmer Sentinel is still there, too. Lin Tian looks at his reflection and sees that his name is now Brian Ellian. He must lead the surviving members of the Ellian family through these troubled times and restore his father's glory.
