Born to Act

Eighteen years ago, the Monos virus bloomed among humanity like a flower of death.

Eighteen years later, a young man saw his future self lying on that flower of death.

He saw his own death.

The fear of the known did not affect him alone. It appeared in his friends as well.

The young man kept investigating in order to survive. But as he continued his investigation, he discovered that nothing lay ahead but darkness.

When he grew tired and wanted to rest, when he no longer wanted to go on, he realized he was already trapped in a quagmire with no way back.

"I'm sorry. I've already shown you a way forward. Why do you still insist on taking another path?"

"You liar!"

"I'm sorry, Xisheng. I failed."

"I brought this on him. I'm a murderer!"

"It's not your fault. It's not your fault."

"I saw my own corpse…"
