The world descended into chaos. Pirates were everywhere, and looting and slaughter seemed like the most ordinary things in this disorderly age!
Of course, someone did try to keep things in check. The Marines, the World Government’s main military force, intervened, but with the Great Pirate Era underway, most of the younger generation had become pirates. The Marines’ numbers and strength were nowhere near enough to maintain peace across the world!
