“Cultivate yourself, put your family in order, govern the state, and bring peace to the world. My ministers, you come before the Son of Heaven as Confucian scholars, claiming again and again that you will teach the emperor how to govern. Did you cultivate yourselves in the pleasure quarters?” Crown Prince Li Chengqian lashes out at the assembled Confucians!

“Hmph, what kind of Tang emperor is this? He uses the elite Xuanjia Army as bait on the flank and takes a reckless gamble. The one who deserves to be called the great general of the Northern Campaign is clearly me!” Emperor Li Shimin is surrounded at Shuofang with the elite Xuanjia Army.

“General Li, surely I’m the only crown prince alive who could have fought his way to Mount Langjuxu.” Crown Prince Li Chengqian performs the ceremony of sealing Mount Langjuxu!

“Rebellious son! What a rebellious son! Out of all the women in the Tang realm, he had to reject them and snatch the Tibetan sacred maiden!” The crown prince puts down a rebellion.

“Hey, I hardly ever get to come out. If I go back early, I’ll be losing out badly. By the crown prince’s order, the guards will keep advancing. As long as Tibet refuses to yield, I’m not returning to court!” Crown Prince Li Chengqian uses the Tibetan sacred maiden as a pretext to ‘help’ Tibet restore order.
