[Both leads are each other's only partners] [One-on-one romance] [The original male and female leads are not vilified] [Older woman-younger man romance]
One day, Han Qianyu inexplicably transmigrated. She already thought that was pretty trendy, but a few days later, after standing up for someone and discovering that the boy she'd rescued was the villain from a book she'd read, her whole worldview shattered.
Maybe it's best not to read books with characters whose names resemble your own. Perhaps she transmigrated into a book because one of its background characters had a name almost identical to hers.
She really was trendy, always at the forefront of fashion.
The novel's villain, Lu Shen, was the male lead's younger half-brother. He grew up being bullied and wasn't taken back into the family until his senior year of high school. The melodramatic part was the family drama; the less melodramatic part was their characterization and the brotherly bond between them. Later, whether Lu Shen's character went off the rails or the author had laid a trap, he ended up causing a financial crisis. In the end, after helping the male lead become head of the family, he died in a car accident.
Although the novel was a little melodramatic, Han Qianyu had still gotten hooked. Besides Lu Shen's character, she also loved the brotherly bond between him and the male lead.
But why had she ended up here? She had neither a System nor a mission. Surely she hadn't come just to watch this family drama unfold up close?
