Who Killed You?

I don't know if you've ever felt this way: at a certain moment, you can't tell whether you love someone or hate them. For instance, they do something unforgivable or hurt you for some other reason. They apologize and hope you'll forgive them. Of course you do, because although your heart is aching, you still can't let them go. Compared with the pain they caused you, the pain of losing them would be even greater, so you have no choice but to forgive them. At the same time, you hate them: you hate them for destroying everything you once thought was perfect, for shattering the beautiful dream you held in your heart. You hate them so much that you almost want to kill them with your own hands. But when you look at them, a single smile makes you unable to go through with it. So you can only deceive yourself, living in a bubble of love and hate, numbing your own senses.
