"Lover's Discourse" is a seminar course offered by Roland Barthes at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris in 1975. This course uses the famous work "The Sorrows of Young Werther" by the great German writer Goethe as the object of analysis, and discusses various aspects of love with young students.
