Lin Yutai was upright and broad-minded, never one to follow convention. Yang Yahui was beautiful inside and out, graceful and easygoing. By chance, they met and discovered they were classmates. Kindness and affection, the feeling of youth: they fell in love.
High school life was colorful, full of sweetness and warmth, arguments and misunderstandings. But the arguments and misunderstandings could always be resolved, and the sweetness and warmth continued. That was life.
Then one day, a change in school policy changed everything. The arrival of military instructors threw the school into chaos, leaving the students miserable. When Yang Yahui was bullied by an instructor, Lin Yutai flew into a rage and, driven by fury, attacked the instructor for the sake of his beloved, causing a huge scandal. Everyone at the school knew who was right and who was wrong, but with the homeroom teacher's help, Lin Yutai was forced to leave school and move far from home.
More than a year of working life taught him a great deal and broadened his mind and horizons. With help from his homeroom teacher, Yang's father, and his many friends, he finally returned to school. His determination to stay true to his path only made his love for Yang Yahui more resolute. They swore eternal love, promising to stay together until death. Yang Yahui defied her mother's objections and resolutely repeated a year of school, planning to take the college entrance exams alongside Lin Yutai.
They had thought that what was eternal would remain eternal, and what endured would last. But they never expected that life could be so unpredictable, or that things might not go according to anyone's wishes. The distance between them, attending different schools in the same city, created a rift that ultimately changed their paths completely...
Overall it's pretty good, the writing is very good, the plot is a bit flawed, and I feel like there are some holes that haven't been filled in, but the flaws don't hide the good points.
