Everything I write next cannot be completely said to be a novel. To be more precise, it can be regarded as a diary, a diary recording the end of the world.
The end of the world is a word that makes people fear but also yearn for it.
It is natural to be afraid. In our understanding, the coming of the end of the world means that the four big brothers, war, plague, famine, and death, will fall from the sky and smash into the world. We civilians are not given any time to react. We pray for help, go with the flow, sit back and wait for death, and fend for ourselves. It's like a mature assembly line, systematic and fast.
How to explain the yearning? Of course, it is not yearning for the tragic scenes of the end of the world, but yearning for the new life brought about by the end of the world. The breaking of old rules and the establishment of a new world give us civilians who are unwilling to be ordinary and see a little hope. Maybe in the end of the world, we new sprouts can also see the blue sky.
But if you want to see the blue sky, you have to live until the sun rises. No matter what lofty ambitions, ideals and beliefs, they are nothing in front of "big brother"! We don't know which knight came first and kicked open the door to the world. Then the fourth brother took advantage of us and dealt crazy output. In less than a year, we were pushed to the edge of the map and almost collapsed. Now we can only keep wandering around the whole map, trying to restore the disadvantage.
This diary was recorded from this trip.
