[Synopsis]
The general trend of the world is that unity follows long division, and division follows long unity. Centered on military and political events, this book strips away the tangled details to paint a concise picture of the rise and fall, triumphs and tragedies of a great empire in Chinese history.
The Yuan dynasty was the first regime in Chinese history to be established across the country and ruled primarily by an ethnic minority. With their formidable military might, the Mongols conquered not only the Central Plains and the lands south of the Yangtze River, but also expanded their control across all of West Asia, creating the largest dynasty in China's history.

The content of this book is very exciting! It tells the story of the rise and fall of the Yuan Dynasty and allowed me to understand how Genghis Khan conquered the world with his will. I think Genghis Khan's leadership and decisive will to kill are admirable. His experience also reminds me of the need for firm goals and courageous actions in life. Moreover, the expansion of the Yuan Dynasty made me understand that a person must have a broad vision and an open mind in order to continue to grow and progress. This book is worth reading and I recommend it to you!
