Your Highness, the Buddha’s Disciple, Please Restrain Yourself

Comedy + devoted-to-each-other romance + a touch of yandere

A sweet-and-sly, sometimes gentle male lead x a cool, alluring female lead

Recently, the Six Realms, peaceful for tens of thousands of years, have grown restless once more. Word is that the Buddha Realm's immaculate Prince of Buddhism is heading to the Netherworld to seek the Seven Emotions. The unspoken taboo of seeking love in the Netherworld has been brought up again, and everyone assumes the two are bound to clash. But the truth is...

The Nether King Zhe Qing, one of the Six Realms' sovereigns, answered the call of the Six-Life Tribulation. No one knew that the immaculate Prince of Buddhism had followed right behind him, eager to go along.

They say the notorious playboy son of Grand Tutor Ming, a household name in the capital, skipped the palace exams and joined the army.

Everyone waited to laugh at the once-gifted young prodigy, but two years later, he returned covered in glory.

No one knew he planned to trade all his military achievements for Gu Qing, the legitimate daughter of the capital's unrivaled Chancellor.

But in the end, he was a step too late. From then on, one would be emperor and the other subject. At the empress's coronation, all the officials knelt, but Ming Yi'an alone stood firm and said to the peerlessly beautiful empress, "I'm sorry. I came too late."

…

The Demon Realm had been quiet for years, but these past few days it had been buzzing. The reason was that the Fox King, one of the three great demon kings, had a daughter, a clever and adorable little thing.

Later, they say the little princess somehow managed to spirit away the Wolf King, and the Wolf Clan elders were ready to hunt her down.

Later still, they say the Wolf King planned to marry into the Fox Clan, and the Wolf Clan elders pleaded with him to reconsider, even threatening to die. The Wolf King simply said, "Make sure you clean up properly. Don't get any blood on my A Qing's clothes."
