Travel Through Forty Years

Three years of high school life in the United States is coming to an end. The torment of receiving rejection letters from American universities nearly brought him to the point of collapse, having been a top student for twelve years. On the day when he was completely desperate, he received an admission notice from New York University. Unexpectedly, I woke up the next day and traveled from 2016 to 1976, from Los Angeles, USA, to an educated youth farm in China, and from an overseas student in an American high school to an educated youth who went to the mountains and countryside. Such a huge span of time, space, region, and identity did not faze him. From then on, he embarked on a new journey of life and achieved one glorious chapter after another...
