The Eastern Tour from Which the Emperor Never Returned: I Told You to Tour the East, Not to Rebel

The Dragon Martial Empire stretches across a vast territory.

To keep the empire’s many regional lords in line,

Emperor Longwu takes the Dragon Martial Guards on an inspection tour every few years.

That year, the emperor fell gravely ill.

To ensure the newly appointed crown prince could smoothly inherit the throne after his abdication,

Emperor Longwu had the crown prince govern in his stead and sent his most unruly young son east with the empire’s most elite Dragon Martial Guards.

That was the emperor’s plan.

His intention was to use the eastern inspection tour to draw out those dissatisfied with the imperial family.

However,

he never imagined that once the young prince left the capital with the Dragon Martial Guards, the guards would soon slip out of his control!

And by the time he realized there was a problem,

it was already too late?

You unfilial brat! I told you to tour the east, not to rebel!
