Just Like the Boy I Loved in My Youth

There is someone who makes me think of him whenever I see a station in the middle of a heavy snowfall; whenever I see people wrapped in warm scarves beneath the autumn leaves lining the streets; whenever I see a boy with brown curls; whenever I see sunlight filtering through the leaves of dense poplar trees; whenever I see a boy riding a bicycle; whenever I see a loose school uniform. Maybe he wasn't the most important person in my long life. Maybe those little things didn't matter much. But in those youthful days, we shared memories and feelings we will never experience again: what it was like to be young.
