[A personal take on cultivation, set in a modern city]
[The heroine is not strong, not strong, not strong. Important things need saying three times!]
[Daily life takes center stage early on; the romance comes later.]
As a fish with a conscience, Su Jinli decides she must repay the boy for the favor of “awakening” her.
But how?
Su Jinli scratches her head. Money? She's just a little demon, not rich like the thousand-year-old fox sister next door!
How about wishing him a lifetime of peace and good fortune? She's a koi, but she can only give him a little extra luck!
Or maybe…
He buries his face in the crook of her neck and says tenderly, “Su Jinli, stay with me. Forever.”
By a twist of fate, Chen Linyu rescues a fish.
In the end, he becomes the warm island where that fish can find refuge.
A gentle, teasing man × a silly, adorable female demon
All in all, it's a cozy, cute story (probably) (*/∇\*)
