A Grand Adventure in the Dream of the Red Chamber: This Daiyu Has Attitude

Daiyu, a veterinarian, dreams herself into a game set in the world of Dream of the Red Chamber. Unless she completes quests and earns enough points, she won’t wake up and return to reality. Luckily, she’s a fan of the novel, so she plans to take shortcuts and pick chapters with high point values to reach her goal fast. But she fails her first trial run. This game is far too realistic, even more so than real life. Everyone in the game has some sort of illness! The NPCs are all seriously unwell. Daiyu never wanted to get caught up in the game; she just wanted to go home and get back to being a veterinarian. But every game is a dream, and in order to clear it, Daiyu ends up living an extraordinarily eventful life.

Daiyu: “That scoundrel may be a rake, but he’s got the heart of a wolf. He even tried to take me down! I nearly, ”

Jia Zhen: “You shot a dart into your big brother’s backside, Sister Lin? What kind of Lin Daiyu are you? And we’re supposed to be close family!”

Jia She: “What business is it of yours if I, a respectable elder, sell my daughter to marry a concubine? How did your brother-in-law Lin raise this brat?”

Baoyu: “Sister Lin, tell me what else I need to change. I’ve even turned away my servant girls, and Sister Bao has entered the palace. I’ve made the honor roll, too. Why are you still refusing to talk about what happened between us?”
