After the Enchantress Enters the Palace, She Rules the Court

Jiang Wanli was a demigod, and the one the Celestial Realm feared most. They sealed away her memories and placed her in the Jiang household while she underwent tribulation. Perhaps it was because she was the reincarnation of a demigod, or perhaps because of the baleful energy within her, but she brought death to the entire Jiang family. With no other choice, she entered the imperial palace as a consort to seek revenge. She trod carefully at every turn, ultimately seized power over the court, and returned to the Celestial Realm. Jiang Wanli was a puppet, and always had been. She was a spoil of war shared by the Celestial Realm and the Netherworld, the proudest creation of Ling Yisheng, son of the Netherworld King, and a patchwork of shattered souls. What did the Celestial Realm fear in her? The demigod power and baleful energy within her. She was both god and demon. In the mortal realm, Luo Tingjun was her salvation. Yet she had pushed that salvation into the abyss with her own hands. She had no heart. She was nothing but a spoil of war, nothing but a puppet. What need did she have for salvation? Supreme power was salvation enough.
