Artificial Earth Satellite Orbit Theory and Application

This book first introduces the orbit and motion laws of artificial earth satellites. Based on an in-depth analysis of the two-body problem, through detailed theoretical derivation, the perturbation motion equation of satellite operation is established, and the first-order analytical solution of the perturbation motion equation is studied. Then, the application of satellite motion theory is systematically discussed. Using this method, we proposed solutions to the satellite orbit and launch section ballistic design that meet various mission requirements, and introduced common satellite network configurations and formation flight issues; then, we introduced the intentional changes in satellite orbits to complete specific missions under impulse assumptions and limited thrust. This book is suitable for teaching, scientific research and engineering practice in the professional and technical direction of aerospace engineering. It can be used as a textbook for senior undergraduates and masters in flight mechanics, overall design and flight control. It can also be used as a reference book for engineering and technical personnel in the fields of aerospace overall design, space launch site testing and launch, etc.
