The Matchmaker of the Three Realms, a woman, is banished to the mortal world to mend several ill-fated romances caused by mistaken identities. Along the way, she unexpectedly meets the young lord of the Underworld, who, infuriatingly, turns out to be the ethereal young master of the Demon Lord. She also encounters Si Yan, a gloomy, obsessive beauty, and her own master, Li Yun.
Everyone she meets treats her well.
But Shaoli betrays her and gets caught up in a scandal, Li Yun cuts out her golden core to curry favor, and Si Yan haunts her relentlessly, tormenting her even as he’s torn between love and hate for her.
The truth behind it all finally comes to light: it’s connected to a woman named Su Ran and a twisted man named Qing He.
