"Inferiority and Transcendence" is an important late work by Alfred Adler, the founder of individual psychology. The book starts from the basic emotion of inferiority, and deeply analyzes its impact on personal family, education, career, marriage, communication and other fields, as well as its obstacles in different life stages such as childhood, adolescence and adulthood.
The author analyzes in detail the internal and external factors that affect personality formation, and provides specific and feasible guiding methods for individual self-awareness, interest development, and future planning. Help individuals discover their potential abilities, get rid of inferiority complex and self-limitation, and achieve a more valuable life.

I came here because of the title of the book because I wanted to solve my own low self-esteem and lack of confidence, but the author talks about how to educate children and the importance of cooperation. The author talked about many cases, which gave me not only inspiration but also worry. It made me feel that educating children is something that must be done carefully, otherwise the children will go astray. Learned a lot from this book.
Finished reading. This is a book about individual psychology that you cannot stop reading. It is helpful from the beginning to satisfying after reading. This is a psychological research book that is very suitable for exploring yourself, cooperation, others and the future.
"Confidence and Transcendence" answered many questions in my life
I have always thought that I was not good enough, that I did not really see through the problems of life, so I did many hysterical behaviors, but my life still did not change.
Now I have a clearer direction for my future life. I no longer look back at the past with trepidation, nor do I place my hope in the bright future imagined by others. The road is at your feet, walk step by step on your own, and you must not just want to get without giving in a down-to-earth manner.
The education of children and the happiness of marriage all depend on the joint efforts of two people. Working alone is doomed to failure in the life style of two people~ Face the people around you with a more peaceful attitude. You and I are all equal social individuals [Love]
It's very interesting, like philosophy
The book mentions that "Each of us has varying degrees of inferiority complex, because we all want to make ourselves better and live a better life." This sentence really speaks to my heart. I especially liked the parts about self-awareness and future planning in the book, which I found very enlightening. Moreover, the views in this book are not rigid theories, but derived from actual experience and are very practical. All in all, I think this is a book worth reading and I recommend it to everyone! 🤗
The author is very insightful in psychology, but the writing is a bit jerky.
It's quite touching, some examples are quite real.
After reading this book, I recommend reading "The Courage to Be Disliked". Adler did put forward many novel ideas.
Worth reading. The first few chapters are not very interesting, but the later chapters are quite close to life.
