You Came Against the Wind

Shu Tianran, a Chinese American, is both a favored daughter of destiny and a diplomat. On her first trip to the front line, she met Su Zang.

Though they should have been like two parallel lines, life on the battlefield brought them together in unexpected ways.

Whenever Shu Tianran found herself in danger, Su Zang came to her rescue. As they spent time together, the two developed feelings for each other.

Gradually, her sharpness, her pride, even her romantic feelings all mattered less. By Su Zang's side, she discovered another meaning to life. She cherished the man she loved, and hoped even more for world peace.

But their social standings were worlds apart, and Shu Tianran's parents opposed their relationship. Su Zang decided to break up with her, hoping she would return to America and live a safe, peaceful life.

Yet on the day Shu Tianran left the front line, she was kidnapped. Su Zang rushed to her without a second thought, giving his life to keep her safe.
