I write about my true self: a rural girl with a heart, a mind of my own, and a way of doing things that sets me apart. I am bold yet thoughtful, unafraid of power and unconstrained by convention. I do only what I believe is meaningful and right. This is who I am, a rare and precious representative of modern society. I write about myself, so those who agree with me can grow alongside me, while those who disagree can speak their minds.
I am an ordinary modern country girl with no power or influence. My parents are farmers, and we live in a remote, underdeveloped village in Dali, Yunnan. Yet I have a few quirky principles: I don't know my place, but I know my will has no bounds; I don't understand the ways of the world, but as long as I look out for myself without harming others, I have nothing to fear wherever I go. I am now writing down the real things that have happened to me for everyone to read and judge.
I hope to become the best version of myself and meet more kindred spirits. I also hope to find wise guidance in life and work, and to hear different voices. May the world be at peace, colorful, vibrant, and beautiful.
