The Poria Consort

One day, she wakes with no idea what year it is, and learns that her late beggar mother arranged for her to marry a young lord. She had planned to seek out her relatives and marry into wealth, but after all kinds of twists and turns, she becomes his bride, brought in to bring him good luck. She plans to spend the rest of her days as a pampered layabout: you earn the money to support the household, and I spend it in style. But little does she know that her young lord husband is egging on his adopted younger brother to usurp the throne. Before long, they are plotting strategy while she saves lives and heals the wounded. Ah, it's easy to board a pirate ship, but hard to get off. When all the glitz and glamour have faded, she'll gather up her little hoard and go live quietly among the common folk.
