I particularly like the character of Frances, she is tough and brave. There is a sentence in the book that particularly impressed me: "Her heart beat suddenly again, she curled up her legs and turned over to lie on her side." This sentence vividly depicts Frances's inner entanglement and uneasiness.

A very wonderful work. The content, profound expressions, and realistic metaphors make people think deeply and cannot be forgotten for a long time. The ending is also thought-provoking. Although the first half of the plot is relatively long, the subsequent reversal and the portrayal of the characters' mentality are really exciting and beautiful!
