Fortune-Telling by the Roadside: Miss, You’re in Grave Danger

[Urban] [Fantasy] [Goofy Comedy] [Multiple Storylines] Qi Yan, a university graduate, happens to meet a mysterious old man. The old man tells him he is the chosen one, and solemnly promises that if Qi Yan follows him, he will guarantee him a life of wealth and glory! After five years of setting up a fortune-telling stall, not only has he failed to become rich beyond his wildest dreams, but he spends every day swindling people and sleeping rough. He often goes three days without a proper meal. Such is the helpless lot of the chosen one. "Hey, hey, hey, gorgeous! Your complexion says your romantic luck is on the rise. Toss me a few bucks and I'll let you take me home. It's a bargain, and the real deal!" "Young man, you've got quite a destiny! You're the reincarnation of the God of War from heaven. Ask your mom to give me ten bucks, and I'll open up your Ren and Du meridians. Then you'll be invincible!" "My friend, I can see that the space between your brows is dark. I'm afraid you're in for a bloody disaster. For just fifty, I'll help you avert it by spending a little money, and guarantee you a safe life!"
