The endless grasslands fade to gray,
A tender blush catches the eye.
Poverty led me into a world of splendor,
Knowing my hopes were beyond my station, I still could not let them go.
I would brave the Milky Way and climb ninety thousand miles,
Just to hold on to one beautiful memory.
Reeds reflected in the mirror, pale and swaying,
Moonlight and breeze cannot carry my faintest thoughts.
