Hug My Little Crescent Moon

Completed | Sweet, delicate beauty in a qipao vs. a deceptively gentle racing driver

(One-on-one romance × devoted love)

Lin Mu was born into a family of scholars and is an inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of qipao craftsmanship.

Cultured, gracious, and gentle, she has grown into the kind of person everyone admires.

But no one knows how desperately she yearns to break free from the shackles inside her and pursue true freedom.

Then, one day at a temple, she sees a man’s tall, straight silhouette. Wearing a deep blue qipao, she feels her heart skip a beat for no reason.

Afterward, he is always smiling when he says to her, “Come here and give your little crescent moon a hug.”

After getting together with Lin Mu, Ji Chen remains as polite and proper as ever.

Until one day, he sees the stars in her eyes as she says, “Wow, those racing drivers are so handsome and cool.”

Beside her, Ji Chen’s handsome face darkens slightly. He works his jaw and asks, “Is that so?”

If I’d known this was your type, why did I even bother pretending?

Later, at the World Racing Championship, Lin Mu joins the throng of fans cheering for their favorite drivers from the stands. After a fierce contest, the former racing champion JK returns to the top, setting the whole internet abuzz.

Lin Mu watches him take off his helmet, revealing a roguishly handsome face and a rebellious air, and freezes in utter shock.

Ji Chen raises an eyebrow and curls his lips into a smile. “What? Isn’t my girlfriend coming over to give me a hug?”

“You...” Ji Chen pulls her into his arms, lifts her chin with one hand, and kisses her. “Mumu, I’m more handsome than all of them. From now on, just look at me, okay?”

The onlookers are dumbstruck. The livestream is reposted all over the internet that very day and quickly hits number one on Weibo’s trending list.
