The Immortal Firmament

[Classical xianxia + no System + slow burn + passionate and exciting] A young man heads to No Return Mountain to gather spirit herbs, only to stumble upon a battle between a spirit fox and an immortal. After surviving a brush with death and finding new life, he returns to his mountain village, only to discover that Baixi Village, where he has lived for twelve years, has become extraordinary. Change is happening there at every moment. The same is true of this stretch of heavenly wood, and of the gourd vine that has guarded it for a thousand years without ever coming to fruition. He says these are the nine fated gourds that represent the future of the heavenly wood... When you look up at the sky and down at the earth, he also says, “The sky is clouds, the earth is mountains. The vastness between heaven and earth is the firmament. The firmament holds nine realms, each realm a heaven. Above the nine heavens lies the realm of immortals!”
