I wonder if you have noticed that the basis of world historical changes is actually "currency" and "economy."
If we can interpret history through the "currency" that changes the social status quo and its systematic changes, we can quickly and truly see "what is happening now" and "what will happen in the future."
This book starts with the emergence of currency and tells how currency affects human beings and creates various impetus and obstacles to the progress of human society.
Let us re-examine the real history of this world from shells; copper coins; silver coins; gold coins, to paper money; electronic currency; virtual currency, etc.
Perhaps, it is completely different from what we have seen and heard!

This book has a unique perspective and is a refreshing interpretation of history from a monetary and economic perspective. The author Masakatsu Miyazaki is knowledgeable and explains the complex history of currency in an easy-to-understand manner. I especially like the introduction of currencies in various periods in the book, which is very interesting. But I hated the virtual currency part of the book, it felt a bit ethereal. Overall, this is a good book worth reading.
