[365 days until the beast tide arrives]... I was reborn?
“Congratulations, Host. You have become a beast tamer and successfully contracted with Maizhu.”
Host: Cang Qiong.
Ability return rate: 80%.
What is the ability return rate?
“Host, the ability return rate is the proportion of a contracted spirit's abilities that it returns to its beast tamer.”
What does an 80% ability return rate mean?
“Host, it means that 80% of the abilities your contracted spirit gains by cultivating in the beast-taming space are returned to you.”
“Statistics from other beast-taming continents show that a beast tamer's usual return rate is between 20% and 50%.”
“An 80% rate means you're basically exploiting your contracted spirit.”
Fine. Since I'm stronger than my contracted spirit anyway, I'll have Teacher Cang save the world and usher in a new era of beast-taming unlike any other.
