Across the Passage of Time

I never felt that I had truly moved on, even after all these years.

I miss those summers, or perhaps I miss who I was back then.

Fearless, with a heart full of passion,

even when things didn't turn out as hoped, I never demanded more.

Perhaps that's simply what the time we shared was like. Don't think it wasn't good enough.

Because one day in the future, it will all become something to remember.
