Ten Years Undercover: The Manhunt

Undercover + criminal investigation + the whole team dotes on him + sickly + secret identities

Lan Fei is back. After disappearing for ten years, he suddenly appeared before Bai Yuqian and the others.

“Who are you, really?”

“I’m Lan Fei, and Jiang Chen, and Persian Cat.”

He carried many secrets, and everyone was looking for him.

Melville, Broadfin Shark, Seibert, Ancient Scorpion, Golden Belt: all these symbols of evil were closely connected to Lan Fei.

“Have you forgotten the promise we made?” Zhou Junxiang demanded, gripping Lan Fei’s hand. “The woods, the dilapidated cabin, everything that happened there: was it all just a dream?”

Lan Fei looked at him coldly. “Then just think of it as a dream.”

Bai Yuqian, his childhood friend, and Zhou Junxiang, who would stand by him through life and death, each felt something different for Lan Fei.

And what secrets did the child Fu Yun, who stayed by Lan Fei’s side, hold?

Robberies, the trafficking of women and children, bombings, falls from buildings: every case was tightly connected, drawing Lan Fei deeper into the web.

It all began with the shooting fifteen years ago, which left Bai Yuqian homeless and Lan Fei’s fate unknown. At the root of it all was the ruinous drug trade.

Years later, Bai Yuqian revived his father’s police identification number and swore beneath the bright red flag: “I swear to wage war against gambling, prostitution, and drugs!”
