I Don't Dare to Love Anymore

Just before graduating from college, Yang Luni is betrayed and dumped by her boyfriend of four years. Devastated, she considers taking her own life. Fortunately, the support of her roommate and best friend helps her emerge from depression.

When graduate school begins, Yang Luni pays the bus fare for a young man who has forgotten his money and has a dead phone. Out of kindness, she lends him her power bank, too. But when they reach his stop, he walks off with it…

Later, while wandering around campus with her roommate, Yang Luni spots the young man and is too astonished to speak. She learns his name is Fang Jingqian.

As the classes go on, the two grow closer. Yang Luni gives Fang Jingqian the power bank.

Her well-meaning roommate warns her not to be fooled by Fang Jingqian's good looks. Yang Luni insists she won't be, saying she's there to study, not to fall in love.

Then comes their encounter at the library. A downpour begins, and he gives her his umbrella. She slowly falls for him, and eventually the two end up in the same bed. Still, she refuses to admit she was the first to fall in love…
