Yang Minghuan was in a car accident, but luckily, Dark Yugi saved him. He even sent Mana (Dark Magician Girl) to teach him how to play cards. Yang Minghuan's goal was to become the national champion, and eventually the world champion. However, Dark Yugi's nemeses, Dark Marik and Dark Bakura, became major obstacles on his path. During this time, Mana (Dark Magician Girl) also experienced a strange condition, but recovered after Yang Minghuan took devoted care of her. As a result, Yang Minghuan found love. But then Dark Marik and Dark Bakura turned their sights on Dark Yugi. Dark Yugi gave all his power to Yang Minghuan, who used it to defeat Dark Marik and Dark Bakura. In the end, with Mana (Dark Magician Girl)'s help, Yang Minghuan won the national championship and achieved success in both love and career.
