Teaching and Guiding Others in Ancient Times

Gentle, classically beautiful woman × steady, serious male lead

Nan Shuyu transmigrated.

From the youngest female professor,

into a noble young lady living through a change of dynasties.

The previous emperor was tyrannical and incompetent. His reign was overthrown, and a new emperor ascended the throne.

The Grand Preceptor remained loyal to the former dynasty and retired to Jiangnan with his granddaughter.

But an imperial decree arranged a marriage between Nan Shuyu and Wei Zhan, the Marquis of Jingyuan, binding them together.

The new emperor ordered the sons of all the officials to study at Yunhua Academy.

The academy’s only female teacher, Jing Yun, had a mysterious past no one knew.

All they knew was that she was exceptionally talented and proved through her abilities that women could do anything men could.

After Wei Zhan came into contact with Jing Yun through his younger brother and secretly fell for her, he planned to ask the emperor to dissolve his engagement to Nan Shuyu,

only to discover that the two women were one and the same.

Excerpt One

The young master of the Marquis of Jingyuan’s household was domineering and willful, the very picture of a spoiled young lord.

After studying at Yunhua Academy, he changed a lot and became more ambitious. But every day, he still kept saying, “The teacher is so wonderful. I wish she were my sister-in-law, so she could teach only me.”

Everyone in the Marquis of Jingyuan’s household was curious about this,

until they saw that the woman looked exactly like Nan Shuyu.

They all had the same thought: Wei Yuan had somehow gotten his wish after all…

But why did the marquis suddenly look so upset?

Oh, right.

A few days ago, the marquis said he wanted to break off the engagement. He said the woman he loved was Teacher Jing Yun.

Everyone exchanged glances. It seemed that engagement couldn't be called off after all.

Nan Shuyu: I came to teach in ancient times and ended up with a man along the way.
