Helian is an eighteen-year-old guy who has just started college. When something goes wrong with the freshman dorms, the school arranges for him to live off campus. His landlords are professors in the university's science department. The couple are heading to the Arctic on a research expedition, so they leave him in charge of the entire house.
Not long afterward, he receives a gift from the landlords, mailed from the Arctic: a transparent crystal egg. After he puts it in the refrigerator, something even stranger happens: a girl hatches from the egg.
The girl is pure and beautiful, as blank as a sheet of paper. She doesn't know who she is or why she hatched from an egg. Like a newborn animal, she takes Helian for her closest family. Aside from her love of ice cream, she knows nothing about the world.
With no one to claim or care for her, he has no choice but to adopt the mysterious girl and give her a name: Little Egg. From then on, he begins living with her as if she were both a pet and a child. He takes her along to his university classes every day, where his classmates stare and get the wrong idea. With another person to support, money becomes tight, so he has no choice but to take the girl along to work part-time after class.
Helian himself has a strange "fear of women," and has never dated a girl. But as he spends time with Little Egg, his fear gradually fades. Through Helian, she learns to understand and adapt to everyday life, becoming just like an ordinary human girl. As the days pass, the two gradually form a bond and grow closer.
A story as absurd and bizarre as a poem or a dream, yet very warm and touching. I doubt the author's wild imagination and daydreaming mental state🍉
The plot of this book is very novel. A girl can be hatched from a crystal egg, and she is as innocent as a blank sheet of paper. The relationship between Helian and Xiaodan was also very interesting. He took Xiaodan to school and worked, and even cured his phobia. I like this kind of daily story very much, it feels very warm. The character Helian is very responsible. Although he was not good at getting along with girls at first, he gradually developed feelings for Xiaodan. This book is great for reading when you are relaxing.
It's hard to watch without any literary foundation, but it feels pretty good. I recommend it!!
Good books for older boys
Happy ending, mutual company
The emotional portrayal is quite delicate. As you read later, you can feel the loss and grief of the male protagonist after Xiaodan left...
This book has clear conclusions and rich descriptions.
