The School Belle’s Personal Bodyguard

“I really have a lot of status at home!”

Ye Wuchen said proudly, chewing on a mango peel.

[Yesterday, we bought several big mangoes

Wife: “I peeled the mangoes, darling. They’re fresh, so you can eat the skins first!”]

“I really do have status! Don’t you believe me? That’s not all. My wife even gives me massages herself and helps get my blood flowing!”

Ye Wuchen protested, his face bright red.

[Just a moment ago

His wife pointed a broom at Ye Wuchen and shouted, “Get on your knees and stay still! I’ll hit you every time you move. Today I’m going to loosen up your bones properly!”]

“If Heaven had not brought forth me, Ye Wuchen, the world would have knelt in darkness for all eternity!”

“Bring me the board!”

“The washboard... the washboard!”
